I know that might not be what you want to hear -- but it's the truth. We'll be ending our trip in Phuket -- one of the most BEAUTIFUL places in the world. Tropical beaches, hour long massages on the beach for under 10 bucks, incredible snorkeling . . . Really, you can't have enough time in Phuket. The rest of our trip will be sort of "go, go, go!" and the ending at Phuket is definitely for seeing beautiful sights and having incredible R&R.

I know many have work schedules that they have to get home to, but if you can swing it, swing it. Believe me, unless you've been before and you know what to expect, you'll likely end up being surprised with how incredible the Phi Phi islands, Freedom beach, and the massages on the beach are that you'll wish you made the arrangements to stay longer. Personally, I'd say an extra week would be a GREAT idea, but even just a day or two longer is a good idea, in my opinion.
